Dr. Laurie Armsby is currently a professor of pediatrics at Oregon Health and Sciences University. Her clinical specialty is in interventional cardiology. She completed her medical training at Stanford University Medical Center, and her pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship training at Boston Children’s Hospital. She has been the director of the pediatric cardiology fellowship program at OHSU since 2006. Dr. Armsby is also the current president of the Society of Pediatric Cardiology Training Program Directors, as well as co-director of the AAP Specialty Review in Pediatric Cardiology. She has a longstanding interest, and experience, in providing care to children with heart disease in communities with poor access to health services.
